Problem with Tesco downloads

Hi All,

Would appreciate some help and advice as I am new to all this. Have bought my son a Sony MP3 player. Have installed Sony Connect software OK and have copied some songs of the computers hard drive to the MP3 player all OK.
Went to Tesco’s online site and paid for and downloaded various songs. Songs play using Windows Media player OK. However, when I try to load them onto the Sony MP3 player using the Connect Sony software an error message appears saying there is an error.
When I go into properties, it says that the file is Protected content. Is this normal as I thought that the idea was to download off the internet onto MP3 players.
Have also downloaded Sonicstage to try and alter the file type with no luck.

Any advice would be appreciated.
