Problem sending an e-mail

  [DELETED] 18:18 23 Dec 2003

I have tried forwarding an e-mail that was sent to me but the following message appeared:- This message has been rejected because it has
an apparently executable attachment ".exe"
This is a virus prevention measure. If you meant to send this file then please package it up as a zip file and resend it. How do I do this please?

The ISP you are sending it to has rejected it because its an executable file.

Download a trial of WinZip click here and put the file in a ZIP file. Then send it.

Firstly you must have here
then once installed,go to your email and save the attachment to a temporary folder, then open the temporary folder ,right click on the attachment and you should see "zip and email plus" click on that and just follow instructions, and it will auto attach to a new email.

Okay I have done that but there are two choices, zip and e-mail and zip and e-mail plus. Whats the difference and has the recipient got to have winzip to open it?

Just use "zip and e-mail".

Yes the recipient needs WinZip installed.
