I have a new DVD RW. I have installed it and windows seems to have recognised it, but when I put in a disc to practice burning it says D:\ is not accessible - incorrect function. What now?
Have you loaded the software you got with the Drive, what OS
No it is an OEM version, I thought it was a matter of putting it in and away I go (XP Pro).
As in your other posting get NERO 6 very cheap at a Computer Fair
I have Nero 6 but it wont record anything.
I am trying to create a data cd, but when I try to burn a disc it says "the disc you need is cdr/cdrw the one you are using is DVDR/DVDRW" - it should still work shouldn't it?
I would have thought so, as it should recognise your Drive. Have you downloaded the latest updates from the AHEAD Site. Have you replaced a CDRW drive with the DVDRW if so that may be the problem
Thanks for everyones help but is was crx1600s which was the answer.
