Could be:-

Faulty monitor (try another one)

Faulty graphics card (try another one)

Too high refresh rate/resolution (start in safe mode and rest to lower)

What type of monitor and graphics card do you have?

Could be other things too, of course :-))

If this is a new LCD monitor you have just fitted, the Resolution will be wrong. You need to fit the old Monitor and reduce Refresh to 60Hz and refresh according to the Manual you got with monitor

Is there a green light on the monitor or does it go into standby with amber light (meaning not getting any input from the pc)?

Try testing the monitor by connecting it to a different pc

Might be something as simple as bad connection. Cable a bit loose or the graphics card being a bit loose and needing reseated especially if its been moved recently.
