I am sure this is correct 2 x 200. I to have crucial ram 1gb, it was a cheap one, I will get the number, what number is yours. I have AMD 64 3200, on a ASUS A8NSLI board. I have it set on auto and the CPU IS AT 2060MHZ, FSB 824. I'll be back.
Your PC is functioning correctly, you do not need to adjust anything. 200MHz is the correct bus. 400MHz is the effective bus speed with double date rate enabled. With the bus at 200MHz, and DDR enabled, all is well and running at full speed.
I see you have a FSB of 824, mine is only 200. The CPU speed is right, however I just think the FSB is set wrong...instead of 200x12, i think is should be 400x6...allowing the RAM and the FSB to be at 400. Memory number is 16VDDT12864AG40BD1 by the way.
Thanks for the post. In that case, what is the reason for similar machines but of a lower spec showing "CPU frequency is 333 mhz" or sometimes more, just below the memory test during boot. Wheres this one, a higher spec pc, states 200. Thanks.
