Im in the trows ofr compiling an idiots guid to preparing imaged for display- The folk I am addressing may not be into image editing very much - so I aim to keep the use of Image editing to a minimum.
One thing I am suggesting is that they print off a sheet of thumbnail images to work from to select
make running order and so on.
So what I am seeking is it possible to print off thumbnails straight from the desk top just as they are displayed without bringing an image editor into the equasion?
If it is not possible then I shall reccommwend one of the freebies [Irfanview et al]

How about printing a screen capture ?

This is a free program that may be handy, cos you can alter the capture size etc. click here

ThumbsPlus or ACDSee 2 excelent dedicated thumbnail proggies. Both have been on PCAdvisor cover disks. Also look at click here

Using a dedicated program, especially a freebie is much easier and better.
