printing adobe acrobat files

i have a an adobe acrobat file, containing text and pictures, which i cant print. i only need the text and tried copying text 2 word. couldnt do either.
is there a way around.
can some body help me as would save a hell of writing trouble. any help would be appreciated.

Normally copying the text to word is just a matter of clicking on the "T" button before selecting the text. Perhaps there is a protection mechanism to prevent this. If that is the case, you could try the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. This copies the whole screen to a buffer, and then you can paste it into a picture editing program, but of course, because it is a bitmapped picture you will not be able to edit it as text.
