Printer Problems

I am using an Epsom Stylus 680 printer, (or at least trying to) It has suddenly decided to stop printing and displays a message on my screen saying 'Printer out of paper', when it most certainly is not. I've even tried changing the ink cartridges, but still I am being told that it's out of paper.
Please, please, can anyone suggest if and how I might be able to correct this problem myself. Thanks.

Would suggest you un-install/re-install the printer software to start with.(unless already attempted)

1. Take all the paper out and put a soft brush down the paper slut to ensure no paper scrap/dust is jammed in there.
Try a single sheet feed
Then 'knock up' the the pile up and resinsert.
