Printer problem

  DAKAR 14:35 29 May 2010

Hi everyone
Could somebody answer a somewhat straight question please,I am asking this on behalf of an old gentleman.
He has had someone install more memory in is pc running XP and since then he cannot use his printer because he keeps getting the message SPOOLER NOT RUNNING he has contacted the guy that installed the memory several times but he has not shown up.
Any help will be appreciated

try this...

Go to start - my computer - c drive - Windows folder - system32 folder - spool folder - printers folder. Then delete the contents of the Printers folder.
Close that, then go to Start - Control Panel - Admin tools - Services - Scroll down to "Print Spooler" and open it and click on "start"
