PRINTER PROBLEM

IM TRYING TO INSTALL A EPSON C44UX PRINTER ONTO MY XP SYSTEM. GOT THE MESSAGE "THERE WAS A PROBLEM DURING INSTALLATION HARDWARE MIGHT NOT WORK PROPERLEY" HARDWARE IS ON THE MACHINE HOWEVER IT WONT PRINT, EVERYTHING JUST ENTERS A PRINT QUEUE. WHEN RE BOOTING MY MACHINE I RECIVE THE MESSAGE "NEW HARDWARE DETECTED" ANY IDEAS??

Is sounds as if your initial installation did not go according to plan. Did oyu install things in the correct order and as per the instruction manual. Some printers have to be installed using Add/remove Hardware - others can be added as found. I suggest you remove all traces of the hardware driver, disconnect your printer, reboot your computer and then restart the installation process EXACTLY as described in your printer manual.

BTW - pleae do not use upper case when posting a question - its the equivalent of shouting and considered bad form. Upper case, such as I have used, to stress a particular word, is however quite acceptable, I think.
