Can anyone tell me how to print what is on the screen please.

Press the Print Screen Button to copy to the clipboard.

Open up a drawing program like Paint.

Press CTRL + V to paste the image.

Print.

VoG .. When you say press "Ctrl + V" Does it have to be a capital "V" or will a lower case one suffice? I've been using the paste icon myself. Is there a difference? (Sorry about the lack of your trade mark sign! I suppose it is in the symbols somewhere?)...Bingalau

You can also hold "Alt" and then press the "Print Screen" button and that will copy an image of the window you have open (the active program).

The "ctrl + v" shortcut isn't case sensitve.

Just left click on edit, at top left hand corner and select paste. These so called short cuts can be a pain when trying to remember them. Why not just use the straightforward way?

Because CTRL + V will work in just about any popgram and you don't have to remember which menu Paste is on for any particular program.

CTRL + C = Copy

CTRL + X = Cut

CTRL + V = Paste

almost universally.

A much simpler way is to press CTRL +P.
