A mate has written a book complete with JPEG pictures and has tried to print a couple of chapters. However the file sizes ( between 10 & 15 MB) seem to be far too large for the printer to cope with. Are there any settings or anything else I can do to sort this .The printer is a standard HP deskjet . Athlon 1700 xp, 256Mb Ram , 20gb Hdd. Win 98 SECheers
Does the PC come up with an error?10 or 15 meg. should not be a problem. In the past I've printed 100 meg. files.
can you not try printing in smaller chunks ??
goto the printer (control panel/printers)or (start/printers and faxes), right click on the printer icon & choose properties, click the advanced tab.make sure that the "start printing immediately" is selected, and not "start printing after last page is spooled".only thing i can think is wronggood luck
Word produces an error message" There is insufficient Memory or Disk Space,Word cannot display the requested Font"Hope this helps
make sure you have sufficient free space on your hard disc... also that your swap file is on automatic setting... try also defragging your hard drive before printing.
