Has anyone out there found running a dual boot OS with this firewall drops out when changing from say WME to XP and you have to put the CD Rom in to reactivate the firewall WME is never effected only XP.
If I were you, I'd get a free firewall off the web. After many posts in a recent discussion I have chosen Sygate personal firewall. It's fast, easy to understand, and unlike the XP firewall, it blocks incoming AND outgoing signals.
Hi gold47. I use this firewall. Have you got cookies enabled in xp. Thie firewall uses a cookie called CDilla and if this is not present or has been removed then you have to reinsert the disc to install it. I am only using win me but I had the problem until I found out why. I now make sure CDilla is not deleted. Meshuga.
