Power Calibration Failed message DVD Movie Factory

Can anyone please help?
Up until recently my DVD MOVIE FACTORY 5 for Toshiba (Vista)was working fine. Suddenly it has started giving this message during burning 'Power Calibration Failed'. I have just opened a new packet of DVD+R discs, could these discs be faulty and , if so, would this be resulting message? I tried a DVD+RW and it worked fine. Is it possible this could be the problem or should I be looking elsewhere. Any advice would be most gratefully appreciated.

wrong type of media or your burner simply does not like them.
lower thr burn speed.
your PSU is packing up.

the last is an outside chance but has been known to contribute to the error message you have...
