I've entered a orange.netpop3 email account in outlook but it won't log on to the outgoing smtp server is this because freeserve block port 25 if so is there a get around this or am I unable to use an alternative pope email address on freeserve?
Your outgoing (send) account, can ONLY be the ISP you are currently logged on to.The inbound (receive) account, can be ANY account that you have that is current.
Got another pop3 account with a domain and it was resolved by using port 26 which is great, but orange.net will only use port 25 which freeserve is blocking to reduce spam ??
