Pop-ups driving me mad

  [DELETED] 19:02 21 Aug 2003

I have Norton Internet Security and until recently I had very few pop-ups. The Norton software still says that it is working but I am now inundated with pop-ups and url icons on my desktop. Also somtimes my homepage gets rediverted. The pop-ups etc range from free prescriptions to adult stuff to anti-aging products and glasses ! Annoying.

Can anyone tell me where on the hard-drive the sub-programs cuasing the desktop shortcuts etc are kept and how I can stop the pop-ups ?

Any help gratefully received.
