Pop up help heeded

  charlton200 11:55 27 May 2006

I have had broadband for 3 days now and my joy of having it is being ruined.
On dial up I never had pop up or flash ads etc.
Now, even though I have got the goggle pop up blocker and the Microsoft window xp pop up blocker going, and have run spybot, ad aware, spywareblaster, a2, superantispyware, plus others,
I am being plagued by pop ups and flash ad on every page I turn to nearly.

Can you help please.

Thanks. I will keep that it mind.

What I would like to know as well is why am I now getting them. I know I have changed to broadband but surly it wouldn't be that.

its a freebie and works wonders, you are probably getting them because via bband there are all sorts of things sitting out there on the web which one might not find via dial up

You may have something that perhaps your anti spyware protection hasn't picked up. You can post hijackthis log at Malware Removal and they will check it out for you if you like click here
