about 5 weeks ago i went onto n.t.l. broadband(128k modem) and everything has been ok, until the last few days that is.
suddenly i am being 'driven up the wall'with pop-ups(even as i type this).
i have been using the E.M.S.free surfer mk II for a long while and it normally does the job, but my son reckons that somebody has 'got my i.p.s address and that is why i am being innundated .
is there anyway i can stop these pesky pop-ups before they drive me 'up the wall'.
will somebody out there please help me while i still have my sanity.

Following your advice a few weeks ago I managed to get rid of the Messenger porno popups and three days ago installed the free version of Popupstoppper. But I notice that it can't handle many as you get notification when it springs into action. Those on the Yahoo site, for example, among others. But I believe when I downloaded it there was an admission that some pop-uppers were using a different technique that popupstopper at the moment, or maybe just the free version, was not effective against.

the popups you are getting are from the windows messenger service and not a website by the sound of things, click here

That's quite possible, mate, they get more cunning by the day, although, to be honest, since I've been using it, I get absolutely no popups whatsoever and I'm using the free version 3.0.1000.

I use Crazy browser wich has a pop up stopper built in...and never get problems.
Its a free program for download...try Google search to find it...cant help more.
