I use an FX5200 128Mb card - what can I say - it works fine. I don't play games.

Depends what you use the pc for,if it's for gaming then your choice is important.

Yes it will be used for gaming. Two gamers in the house , they seem quite happy with the MX card but if i can improve things for not too much money then your advice will help me .

If you are willing to spend about ?120, I would go for a Radeon 9600 pro from click here

Hi DAG88
I was hoping to spend a little less than that amount,i was thinking more of up to ?80,stingy i know but that's my budget at the moment , so if you've any other ideas it would help a lot.

If the gamers are happy then it would be best to leave things as they are for now.Top gaming cards are way more than that at present so why not save up.

My reccomendation for what it's worth - GeForce4FX5600 - but not sure of todays price.

Regards Starfox.

GeForceFX5600 is now ?171-53inc vat on E-Buyer (see link above).

I agree with Starfox - if they're happy now, why spend anything?

There are also Radeon 9200's available in this price range. Magazines say the FX5200 are better but i have never personally seen one in action. I have seen a Radeon 9200 256MB which perfroms fairly well and i could recommend.
There is a good selection here click here You will struggle to find a better price
