Please Help. Comma Key Doesn't Work!

  Viv-208691 13:50 10 Nov 2005

Can anybody suggest why my comma key has suddenly stopped working?! (If I do shift comma the less than sign does not work either). I use a laptop and the individual keys cannot be removed.

How can I assign a different key to function as my comma key?

Thanks a lot F.T.

Assuming your keyboard is damaged, make sure Numlock is on, when you need to insert a comma, hold down Alt and type 44 on the keypad (keypad only, it won't work on the number keys).

It may just need cleaning if all the other keys work, try taking the key off and cleaning it.

Ok thanks. All settings were 'English UK' or 'United Kingdom' so that is OK.

Acolyte's link gave me a program that only lets me remap Ctrl and Caps lock - not the comma key! Any more help please?!
