playing MP3 through old hifi?

Dear all,
is it possible to play mp3 songs from my computer through my analogue amp?(marantz amp with bose speakers). I have looked on the net and found a device called Bluewalker Wireless HiFi Link. I'm not sure if this is the correct thing to buy and would not like to part with the money until sure it will do the job.
Any thoughts gratefully recieved

Providing the amplfier has either a stereo jackplug input (either single or L+R sockets), you could use the headphone socket from your soundcard or onboard sound with a suitable lead. See:

The quality of MP3s is unlikely to be good enough to use any superior connection method.

Sorry, not quite the right combination lead. See:

Oh dear...:-(

I mean, of course, the speakers' jack plug socket from the sound card or onboard sound.

thanks for that. I was thinking more of a wireless connection so i can have my computer in one room and my hifi in another?
