Play Video from Camcorder onTV

  TN 16:44 11 Jun 2005

I have just received a digital camcorder and can watch playback on my computer monitor. I have a cable with red, white and yellow terminals which attaches to the same colour sockets on my TV. How can I watch the playback on the TV or what way do I 'tune the camera in'? Please be patient as I am not technical minded and anything to do with solder, printed circuits or such will be outside my capabilities!!!
Many thnaks for any help received.

If you've got the correct three sockets on the TV - then attach the cable, put the camera into Play.

The sockets will be an AV or External connection - like a SCART socket - so you usually press the AV button on the TV remote - and keep pressing it until you get to the AV number that applies to the audio/video sockets 8where you will see the picture that you're playing.

There's no "tuning" as such - just switching to the right input.

Just tried that - there are 4 'E' buttons on remote control and No 3 was the one that had the pictures - tremendous results and my sincere thanks for your assistance.

You're very welcome - all the way from sunny Spain.
