Photo Overlay

Can anyone help! I'm trying to place a photo in the cornert over another photo, If you can imagine a photo of a house and an inset of a lounge in JPG format. is there a simple software or shareware. Thanksm in anticipation.

If using PSP

Open main photo

Open photo required for inset

Resize photos to required size.

Select inset photo.

edit copy inset photo.

Edit paste as new layer on main photo.Move to position required.

Save as jpeg.

I've an idea that most photo progs will be similar.

Just tried Paint in windows. This will do as required. You may have to experiment a bit, but very similar to above.

click here zonerdraw isfree and very easy to use.Put as many pics as you like wherever you like.

Though a photo-editing package may give you more options like feathering the edges of the overlayed picture to make it blend into the background picture, there are other ways to do combine two pictures together.

In Word you could turn off wrapping for the larger picture and place the smaller one over it.

A DTP program is often more flexible for combining text and graphics together as it is easier to resize, rotate, and position things accurately.
