Photo Compression

I have some wedding photos that were taken with a high spec digital camera and as a result each jpeg is about 5-6 MB in file size. My DVD recorder will play jpegs, but only 4 MB files and under. Can anyone recommend any software that will allow me to re-save the photos with a smaller file size so that I can view them on the TV. Free programmes would be beneficial as it is something that I will only need to use the once.

Don't forget if you resize them, they will look OK on a TV screen, but will probably print out poorly. If you want keep them to print them later on give them a different file name. David
