My Philips HDD060 appears to have a corrupt file called "My DB journal". Having reformatted the player using Musicmatch, I then tried to copy the music files back to the player, which told me there was an error writing to the player.
Philips have told me to restore the factory settings using Device Manager, which I've done, but I can only transfer a few songs before I get the "error writing to player" message and then the player cannot be seen by Musicmatch.
Philips are stumped (apart from suggesting servicing the machine for £100!!). Does anybody have any ideas on how to cure this?
