Not with standing using 'popup' blocker on Firefox,, using Revo uninstaller. Various 'mend your PC and other. 'Improvement' prgrams keep/crashing across he screen on a Vista desktop.

The use bold invites to install and miniscule close boxes.

All time consuming and thought scrambling.

When looking into the programs folder there are files present, so are the 'hardwired' into the O/S? However they appear, how to stop these continual interruptions to useful work?

Install an add-on for the browser you use. I use ADblocker plus. It should help.

Adblocker plus for which browser?

As stated I have Firefox and as far as I am aware its blocker is in place.

Some of these 'install now' panels the cunning bxxxx/xxs dont indicate what it is for.

After you have installed Adblock Plus, don't forget to subscribe to a filter list (it's all free - nowt to pay)
