PCA Forums search facility.

Trying to follow the right route I have been getting some odd answers to my search questions.

For example I tested the system by searching the forums for "Cyclists" knowing full well there is a current thread in Speakers Corner with that exact title. This is what I got by way of answers. (you may need to click on the image once downloaded to get to full size)

I have never found the forum search very eficient,
and I do wish the results could be presented in date order.

seems to search the threads rather than he title.
would like to be able to search for:-

1, thread title - PCA Forums search facility.

2. name of poster - anskyber

3. or by date Thu, - 05/10/06

Perhaps I should have put this in Speakers Corner after all.

Click on "Your postings" in top left corner and you will see all your Postings.

It as been like it for years, I stopped worrying about it as I have lots more to do

The same questions come up over and over again(sometimes posted in a slightly different way).

I have a set of "stock answers" I use all the time.

If the search facility worked, we would be out of a job.
