PC World select CD/DVD Burner file problem

  Simmpy 08:20 23 May 2006

I have recently been having problems with Pinnacle CD/DVD burning programme on my PC (causes it to crash). I decided to buy a cheap piece of software as a temporary fix. I bought the PC World product. However it doesn't recognise any file types I try to copy. These are wma or cda. I thought these to be very common (a shop bought CD seems to always be cda?)
On the box it says it supports MP3 and WAV. Am I missing something or is this software of little use?

MP3 and WAV are different formats to WMA and CDA. If it says on the box that it supports particuar types of files then it may only work with those types of files. You may have to convert your audio files. I'd recommend converting to MP3. You can import them using iTunes which has the ability to change the file type.
