PC Workshop - startup requirments

For some time, I've been toying with the idea of setting up a workshop at home for PC reapirs.

Has anyone else done this? I'm trying to work out roughly what I'll need to spend, so any advice on the minimum requirements in terms of facilties would be appreciated.

I've only ever worked for other people (spending other people's money!) and I don't want to incur more start-up costs than necessary - although that doesn't mean I want to cut corners either.

Cheers

all I have apart from a comprehensive set of tools is my main pc which is never touched and a basic machine which I can network to the main when needed for downloads. The basic machine is used as a testbed for components from other machines.

2 extra thing to start with...

A contract with the customer limiting your liability.

Professional Indemnity Insurance this is the expensive one.
