Hi , my pc wont start , i get the motherboard logo appear when i switch on but it stays there and nothing else happens. I tried to boot from my xp cd but that won't work either it still just stays at the motherboard screen. Nothing on the keyboard seems to make any difference. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

ok its working again , after switching it on and off 5-6 times i got a screen saying that the pc was hanging due to an incorrect cpu speed. Not sure what all that was about but its fine now , so if anybody else ever gets the same problem you may want to try that too
