The last couple of weeks im been having problems with my pc, because it keeps shutting down when im gaming, and it doesn't seem to be having a pattern. My gpu seems fine, but my cpu is always hot, like when im just surfing on the internet, it stays at an average of 65 degress celcius, and when im gaming it can go to 85.

Plz help a fellow gamer in need :/

By the way, its a gaming laptop from MSI, called dominator pro

Specs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz with windows 8.1

Most likely cause is overheating you may have to strip and clean the cpu fan and heatsink click here

okay, so i did what i was told in the video, and after i have reboted it. It now tells me cpu is 98 degress celcius, i may have done something wrong, because my fans is now running at 3600 rpm ':/

The air that is getting out is cold or not very hot, shouldn't it be hot if my cpu is 98 degree celcius?

now when i think about it, i may have removed the thermal paste, which means i will have to buy some new right?

You'd be well advised not to run it without Thermal Paste
