PC Motherboard for certain CPU

  Rooguy479 18:22 21 Dec 2016

I have a working "Intel Pentium M 740" CPU and I am saving it to build a PC with. However, I have not found a motherboard that is suitable to hold it, and even when I do they would not have enough PCI-e slots, Only 1 RAM slot (etc.). If anyone knows of a suitable motherboard to fit the CPU please let me know, Thanks.

It has socket 479 (the CPU)

That CPU was introduced January 2005, the chances of you finding a working motherboard to run it in are very slim. Keep trawling Ebay, there are some there but, most are custom designs from large PC manufacturers, which may be of little use to you. There are some others, I suggest you research thoroughly before buying.
