A PC equivalent to Audiohijack, please

  stewyj 12:20 06 Feb 2010

How can I get a program like AppleMac's Audiohijack so I can download audio from the net direct to my PC, WITHOUT
having to record it 'live' through Adobe Audition (or, for that matter, Audacity)?

I currently have to go through the Audition recordings to 'fix' interruptions in the
signal (buffer etc) and this takes a LOT of time.
There HAS to be something like ATube Catcher (which I have, and use for
grabbing video and/or/audio from YouTube videos, for which it was specifically created)
where I can just a click a button, sending the m3 to my desktop.
The problem is that ATube Catcher is refused access to the BBC iplayer pages.

Can anyone help?

Total Recorder may be what you want click here

Thanks very much for that, bremner.

I followed your link and had a good look, but the standard edition of Total Recorder not only cost money but misses out on a 'click and download audio' feature.

Anyone else got any ideas?
