PC Configuration for Video Editing

Hi, I need to upgrade my very old PC to one that will best handle some video editing.

There are 2 builds available to me at my budget and I am hoping that someone could advise on which one is the most appropriate for my needs. Both have same SSD drives and RAM so the confusion is which CPU/Graphics are best.

Option 1: Intel Core i5-9400F 2.9GHz (6 cores, 6 threads) NVIDIA GT 710 1GB

Option 2: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6GHz (4 cores, 8 threads) Vega 11 Graphics

Head over to the website for your chosen video editing software and see what it says for recommended system requirements. You may find that the software is not optimised for Vega 11 Graphics.

By the way, for editing large video files you should aim for a minimum of 16GB of RAM. If they're just tichy SD ones that came off your phone then 8GB will probably suffice.
