Hello all,

I have saved roughly about £440 for a new PC as my old one kicked the can, borrowing a friends old laptop for now.

Basically, I used my PC for internet browsing and playing games.

I play games like Left4dead, CSS, WarRock and Fallout 3.

I'm am not confident building my own and was wondering what you guys would recommened in the way of a pre-built computer. I only use a 1024x1280 monitor so i dont need a beast of a machine, just enough to give me a good solid framerate in all games and all to medium and high graphics.

Any help would be greatly apperciated! =D

(PS: I just need the base (with OP if possible), no need for mouse, speakers, monitor etc)

I'd get this Dell Vostro 420 click here & select the 2Gb memory upgrade for £344 delivered (free shipping offer expires on 28/01).

With the rest of the money, add a graphics card of your choice from elsewhere. The PSU on this will handle anything up to a 9800GT.

A few GPU examples around the £90 mark - don't go for anything less than a 8800GT/9800GT 512Mb or HD4830 512Mb:

- Novatech GeForce 9800GT SLI 512MB GDDR3 click here
- Novatech ATI Radeon HD4830 512MB GDDR3 click here

Well, more accurately, you should REPLACE their HD3650 card with a better one as detailed above. G
