Was she using the right username or email address?

Thank you all for persevering with this one.

I was in fact using a little Toshiba that had in pieces and just screwed to gether.

A re screw sorted the keyboard.

Shall pass on all the relevant tips, also it occured to me I seem to recall that access to the actual account page is a different entity to web and mail which is Yahoo.

So I have also suggested she should refer to the original e-mail and instead of 'log on'click on 'register' where account/bill number will be needed.

When she got back to the original invitw mail it dawned on her she used a different .user name' in the past.
