Password not reconised after upgrade to Software

I have a password problem after upgrading to the latest version of Positive for Windows EPOS software.
We can still access the previous version of the software both over our peer to peer neckwork and as standalone.
I have carried out various tests, culminating in taking one workstation out of the network, removing all traces of the software including ini. files, installing the latest software from the developers website as a demo version and trying to open the program with the default demo mode username and password. Even then I am denied access.
I have carried out the same test on another workstation that hasn't been part of our network and all is OK.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

This issue has been resolved. The software has a bug which does not allow access if the mouse is used to navigate the log on window, we have found that if the tab key is used instead, access is granted. The developers have been notified.
