I am running XPPro and keep getting the message "Your password expires in x days." It now says I have five days left. I have never had a password and am a bit concerned that in five days I will not be able to gain access. Does it matter?

Thank you VoG™. Have done that and will wait until next logon.

You will just use the password that you have now (or just click onto your username if you haven't got a password) and it will tell you to change your password....

If you want to "disable" this, just go to "control pannel->performance and maintenance->admistrative tools->computer management".. Now double click onto "System Tools->Local Users and Groups->User" now double click onto your username....

Just tick the "Password never expires" tick box and click onto OK...

Thats it... You shouldn't be asked to change your password at logon...
