I have a computer running Vista Home Premium & the Hard Disk is Partitioned. What I would like to know, is there any way apart from re-formatting said drive to remove the partition.

How much space are you losing?

Sometimes having data on one partition and Windows on another is a good thing when it comes to reformatting...

You may find this will do the job as freeware, but I know Acronis has a partition manager in the Disk Director Suite click here that will do the job as, I think do Paragon

Is your recovery data on the other partition,if so,leave it or you wont be able to restore from recovery disks in the event of disaster.

Use windows Vista in-built disk management to shrink the partition and then to merge it with the C drive.

the partition must not contain any data or have system restore or virtual memory running on it.
