Panorama software

Some time ago (5yrs?) i used a program which allowed for stitching semi manually.
You had two pics on the screen and clicked a pixel on the left pic - dragged a line/stitch to the corresponding pixel on the right hand pic - then repeated on a different part of the pics.

You then ,effectively, told the software - i have given you some clues do the rest in auto.

The software i have found recently do not allow this sort of help.

Does anyone know of this old program or a newer one that allows this manual help?

The one I use which allows manual adjustments is Ulead Cool 360.

I do have "Ulead Cool 360 " and find if the pics are good (just need butting up)it will do a good job but manual control is very small .
Unless i have missed something.

Maybe I have got it wrong but I find that 99 times out of 100 it picks up the stitching perfectly first time. If it does need adjusting I just click on the picture and move it.
