had a similar problem with my 8520,came to the conclusion it was the version of blue tooth on either phone or my dongle.I had a similar problem pairing up a Mk7 fiesta titanium with a samsung phone,hence getting a blackberry which i dislike and am about to give it the "wee" treatment i.e. put in my hand and throw it hence as it goes through the air "wee".Next time i'll look onto the ford web site for compatable phones.
