My daughter has a Packard Bell Easynote L4 S/N: 104214640134, P/N: PB32R00101 laptop. It currently has only 248 memory in it. My questions are how much memory can it be upgraded to?, what memory do i need as there is DDR and DDR2? and finally is it an easy job to replace?

For normal use another 256mb would be enough, but memory is very cheap today. My HP as only one slot so you may need a bigger chips if there is no more slots

Thanks Dick Tattor, really useful info. I can now look for memory confidently. Thanks again.
