Well i got a celeron 2.4 all i have to do is raise the fsb in bios my fsb is 133 at the moment which is the max i can go.

so since i got a 2.4 GHz my multiplyer is 24 (take the decimal out)

so your default fsb is 100 making it 2400 MHz (2.4GHz)

133 * 24 = 3192 (3.2 GHz rounded up)

i use no additional cooling

maximum load temp is 52 oC dont let it go any higher than that though

try this website its all about OC'ing

post in the forums to get your answers they have sections on cooling and stuff

but you have to check if your mobo allows it and all that the oc forum will go into more detail about that if u sign up for free and post a help topic.give your mobo model and processor and they will research and that to help you.

I have decided against doing this and instead wish to purchase an new processor and motherboard bundle
