I have had a new PC running XP medida centre 2005 with Office 2003. Does anyone know a way of transferring my e-mails & Contacts from old Pc running XP SP2 & Office XP using Outlook.

Copy the outlook.pst file from Documents and Settings/%username%/ Local Settings/Application Data/Microsoft/Outlook to a disk or thumbdrive.

Put this into the new machine. Open Outlook and choose File > Import and Export > Import from another program or file > Personal Folder File and point it at the file you copied out.

One way is to use EA8, make a backup on the old machine, load EA8 and the backup file on the new machine, restore and all your old emails and outlook settings will be restored on the new machine, robert is then your fathers brother as they say
