Outlook or outlook express?

I keep reading about Outlook as an alternative to Outlook Express but I am unable to find it on my computer. (I am running XP on a modern computer).
What are the pros and cons of the two programs and how can I find and run Outlook?

Outlook is part of MS Office - so you may not have it.

Outlook is a comprehensive organiser program - Outlook Express is little more than an Email/News program.

For email only there's not a lot to choose between them.

I do have Microsoft Office installed but presumably not all of it. I'll have a look in that department. Thanks.

If you put the Office CD in, you should be able to update the install, and/or just install Outlook if you can't find it on your PC.

OPutlook should be able to import all your settings from Outlook Express for you to make upgrading easy.
