Outlook Express provided by PC Advisor. I had problems with Internet Explorer 5 and was advised to install IE 6 - done, but Outlook Express still being provided by PC Advuisor - does this matter ? And anyway how can I get Outlook Express direct from MSN please ?

Outlook Express is part of IE. Uninstall the old version.

You can do with a registry edit

But back up your registry first.


And no it doesn't matter it's the same program, just been branded with PC Advisor's name. When you find the entry in registry you can replace PC Advisor with whastever you please

Remove the text at the top of Internet Explorer:

Go to Start, choose Run, and type or paste "rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear" without the quotes. Hit Enter.
