Outlook express 6 - wrong recieved time

When I receive an e-mail the time is always indicating 8 hours out eg sent at 12.00 time indicates 04.00hrs. computer clock is correct, I am on broadband and win 98se. Help required

Sent by the sender @ Time stated. The time is the time the web server recieved the email - Where it is held by the server until you downlood it.

You sent the responce @23.40 my OE showed a time of 15.44hrs (8hrs behind current time.

Sounds like you're on the wrong time zone, Baranth, go to Control Panel > Date and Time > Time Zone tab and choose GMT, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Lisbon.

Thanks MAJ wrong time zone select changed to GMT everything OK.
