outlook express

Don't use it myself but my brothee does and wants to know how to stop outlook express deleting e-mails from server when he reads them.

If you go to Tools/MessageRules/Mail/2.Select the actions for your rules[there is a box to Do not download from server.

Not sure if this is what you want but best can do

Tools - Accounts - Mail. Select the account and click properties. Under the Advanced tab, delivery section, select 'Leave a copy of messages on server'

But a word of warning. I had this set up by accident and soon found my account had filled up. Once this happens, no more e-mails. So make sure you delete them somehow on a regular basis. Don't forget that it only takes a few junk e-mails....
