Outlook 97 - No send/receive on toolbar

  Alan2 18:28 18 Nov 2006

My friend has Outlook 97 but the send/receive button is absent from the toolbar and there appears to be no way to get it added through options etc.

Also under File options it is not possible to work offline.

Does anyone have any ideas - please.

Silly question but have they set up an e-mail account in Outlook?

Emails are sent and received OK - it's just that the options I have in Outlook XP (2002) don't appear to be available in 97. We need to go ofline to run MailWasher to trap junk mail.

Outlook shortcut F5 checks for new mail so that should be the same as send/receive.
