Outlook 2003 won't open

Help if you can please.
When I try opening Outlook 2003 I get a box stating configuring Outlook Accounts, Creating Welcome Message, then over the top of this appears another box Mocrosoft Exchange Server asking for M.E.S details and mailbox.
If I click on ok or cancel end up with a box stating,
Cannot start Microsoft Office outlook, Unable to open the Outlook Window.
The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available.
Contact your administrator if this condition persists.
The dialogue then just closes.
I DON'T wish to open exchange server.
Any ideas please? Col

Put your Office CD in and click set up, it will give you the option to "repair" from there.

to a Microsoft Exchange server. Did you install the software, or has the computer previously been used on a network?

Is this a new problem or has it always happened.

Can you actually get Outlook to run after the error messages?

Did you set up Outlook to download messages from an Exchange server?

Hi VoG yes it has always happened.

No will not run after error message.

I didn't set it up but the PC owner did and he wouldn't understand about those things.
I uninstalled and reinstalled but no joy.

Thanks for your time. Col

Does anyone know how to stop "logon to exchange server" request when trying to load Outlook 2003?
